 What does the word “bilingual” mean?

It consist of two word such as,

 Bi = twice, two

 Lingual = pertaining to languages

 Bilingual = able to speak one’s native language and another with approximately equal facility.

What does the word “education” mean?

 Educate = to develop the faculties and powers of (a person) by teaching, instruction, or schooling.

Education = the act or process of imparting or acquiring general knowledge, developing the powers of reasoning and judgment, and generally of preparing oneself or others intellectually for mature life.

What does the phrase “bilingual education” mean?

1: Approaches in the classroom that use the native languages of English language learners (ELLs) for instruction”

2: Bilingualism is the ability to communicate in two different languages. Bilingual education is the use of two different languages in classroom instruction.
